Approaching 27 weeks

We had a great christmas! We traveled literally all over Oklahoma and had 7 christmases between all our families...quite exhausting but a wonderful trip! Coop got lots of toys and is set for a while and my awesome hubby put together a surprise baby shower for me. Isn't he awesome! I think my belly is growing at a seriously exponential rate these days....I swear it doubled between the start of my trip and the end of the trip. I'm definitely getting bigger than I was full term with Coop and really scared to see how I'm going to grow any larger the next two months!

24 weeks and growing....rapidly....

So I'm 24 weeks now and I'm starting to get scared of the size I'm going to end up when this is all said and done! I'm growing at such a rapid rate its scary!

So other than me growing way too fast I'm doing pretty good. I had a rough few past weeks but overall I'm starting to feel a lot better. I'm just taking it easy and not doing much and that really does make a difference!!!

Almost 22 weeks

I'm almost 22 weeks now which seems crazy! I'm feeling it though for sure and not sure how I'm going to make it 3 more months. I didn't think my belly had grown much since last time I posted but I guess it has been 4 weeks and yea...its definitely grown once I compare them!

Dog Bite

So we had a very traumatic day yesterday. Our dog Mojo who has been a part of our family for 9 years bit Cooper yesterday. :( He ended up with 5 stitches in his cheek and 2 in his nose. Please let me know if you know of anyone who needs a good dog who does not have children or other small animals. He really is a loving dog but he's just too old to be around kids anymore. :(

The verdict is in!

We had our ultrasound today...and its TWO GIRLS!!!! I'm seriously in shock!! Alanna and Abigail is what we plan on naming them and we'll probably call them Abby and Ally! I can't believe its two girls!!! Here's a few shots for ya!

Friend had quintuplets!!

I've made a new friend during this journey who has been pregnant with quintuplets...well she just had them yesterday at 33 weeks!!!! She did so amazing carrying them for so long and she had some big healthy babies! Her largest was close to 5 lbs!! Please be praying for her and her babies and that they have a quick hospital stay and are home soon! Here's her blog if you want to see. :)

Almost 17 weeks!

I'll be 17 weeks in two days...seems crazy how fast things are starting to fly! Here's my recent belly pics!

Babies are doing great!

I had a dr appointment today and we got to see the babies! They have gotten so much bigger since last time we saw them. We didn't get a chance to peak at the gender but we'll find out what they are on October 30th! I can't wait!!

My belly

Here's my belly at almost 14 weeks. I lost some weight at Disney with all the walking and sweating so my pooch went down a little. Its starting to come back though pretty quickly! I imagine in the next few weeks I'll really start to pop!

Disney Trip

Sorry for the picture overload here but just wanted to post an update about our trip!! We had a blast. I was feeling a little guilty at first for leaving our dogs and home for our neighbors to care for but when I realized our electricity was going to be out all week I was glad I was at Disney! :P

On Friday we caught one of the last flights out of Houston and flew into Tampa, FL. We drove down to St Petersburg and stayed the night on the ocean. This was Coop's first "real" time to see the ocean! (We don't really count Galveston :P) He loved it though.

We are safe!

I've gotten a lot of calls today from people checking in on us and I just wanted to let everyone know we are safe from the storm. We actually evacuated on Friday morning to Tampa, FL...spent the evening on the beach and headed to Disney World this morning! :P Sounds like a good evacuation plan doesn't it! We had our yearly Disney vacation booked to leave on Sunday and we knew there was no way we were making it out on Sunday flying standby so we just bumped up our vacation a few days. :)

We've heard from neighbors though and our home and doggies are fine. Very little damage to our home Praise God! Part of our fence got blown down but that's it. There are several trees down on the street but I haven't heard of any hitting homes so that's great! I hope everyone back in Houston is safe and has little or no damage from the storm!!!

10 weeks vs 20 weeks

So I took my 10 week pic wearing the same thing I did on my 20 week pic with Cooper. We were on a cruise at 20 weeks when the picture was taken. Sadly...I'm bigger already than I was then!

Things are going great

Sorry I haven't updated in a while...things are going great though! I'm seriously growing fast this time! We've heard both the heartbeats and I've seen them kicking their little legs and waving their arms...its crazy how fast they develop! I have finally found an OB which I start seeing next week and I'm dismissed from my RE...yay! But other than that things are great! I wasn't feeling too well at first but I'm gradually getting better. We leave for Disney World on the 14th so pray I feel good when we go!

Two Heartbeats

We got to see two beautiful heartbeats on the monitor today!!! I was so happy to see them both. The second baby was a few days behind at my last ultrasound and today they were both one day ahead! So they are growing strong!!

TWINS

Its twins!! I was right...that little blob at the bottom was my second baby! I'll post a pic of the ultrasound later. We are so excited!!!

So today's ultrasound still just shows one for sure (but there is still a questionable black area below it so I'm not 100% convinced yet lol). My nurse said she's pretty sure its just one but next week we'll be able to see a lot more so they can say definitely if its one or not then. My HCG levels are now over 5000. They no longer tell me the exact number over 5000 so I don't get to obsess about levels anymore. lol Here's my latest ultrasound pic!

Inconclusive results today!

Boo...I still have to continue waiting to find out how many. There was one clear sac today but a few black dots that they weren't sure about. I go back for another Friday morning! I'll post a pic so you can tell me what you think in a minute...

Here it is...

Numbers looking good!

So everything is looking good still! From Wed to Fri my hcg went from 217-407. So it just almost doubled. With a normal pregnancy your hcg levels double every 48-72 hours so it was right on target. So I was thinking...maybe it is just one healthy baby. :) Then I got today's results! 1848!!! So that's a rapid increase since friday! SO rapid...they moved my ultrasound up to Wednesday!!!! Woohoo! We will maybe know in two days how many!
